Axis Hair has been in business for close to 20 years and is completely Canadian. Foster Eastman, an internationally recognized stylist, has gone on to develop AXIS Basix products and a training system that is now educating hundreds of future hairstylists at our Hair Art Design Academy in the heart of Gastown. Axis has trained stylists like Harry Josh who is now the stylist to Giselle, Drew Barrymore and Carmen Electra.
Both salons are styled in timeless art deco with airy high ceilings. The atmosphere is elegant but welcoming. This company is all about great hair and having fun. Our stylists don't take themselves too seriously and are constantly receiving advanced training.
Haircuts start at $35 and include a relaxing scalp massage, shampoo and blow out using AXIS Basix products. Please feel free to visit us at either location. We guarantee you'll leave feeling and looking terrific.

Special Charity Event: The event is happening on Friday August 10, 2007. We're hoping to raise at least $10,000.00. Proceeds are going to the BC Cancer Foundation's Underwear Affair. It's a fudnraiser to help fight cancers below the waist that affect men and women. On the day o the event, we are doing our own version of an underwear affair wiht a ton of glamour. It's going to be haircuts only all day. There will be prizes and refreshments served. None of our clients are required to shave their hair off completely but we will have chairs set out on the sidewalk for $20 pure donation buzz offs. It's going to be great!!
